The deposit will be applied to the appointment unless 48 hours notice is not given to cancel or if there is a no show. All intake forms, consents and policies are REQUIRED for your first appointment. Failing to complete this paperwork may result in canceling or rescheduling the initial appointment.

Cancellation Policy: As a valued patient/client we appreciate your time and commitment to your health. Our goal is to provide exceptional care to you and the community. That being said, our cancellation policy requires at least 48 hours notice for Initial Acupuncture Appointments, 90 minute massage appointments, and 24 hours notice for all other services. *Please note that Tuesday appointments must be cancelled by Saturday at 3pm ET when our office closes.

Benefits of using an infrared sauna:

Improved heart health
Within minutes of sitting in an infrared sauna, your body’s natural response begins. Beads of sweat appear on your skin. Your blood vessels widen and increase blood flow.
Studies show that infrared saunas can help boost heart health and reduce blood pressure. Researchers equated the physical response of an infrared sauna session to walking at a moderate pace

It can also help with soothing sore muscles because the improved blood circulation brought on by an infrared sauna session can help speed up muscle recovery following physical activity.

Pain relief
Researchers found that infrared sauna therapy “may be a promising method for treatment of chronic pain.” The determination followed a 2 year study where people showed improved outcomes with the treatment.

Relaxation
Warming your body seems to warm your soul, too. Setting aside some sauna time may help decrease depression, anxiety and stress. Basically, think of it as a meditation session in warmer temperatures.

Catching ZZZs
A bonus benefit to being more relaxed? Better sleep, which has also been linked to sauna use.

Fighting off illness
There’s evidence that regular sauna use can help you avoid the common cold. Saunas also reduce oxidative stress, which is associated with cardiovascular disease, cancer and degenerative diseases like dementia.

Benefits of using the amethyst biomat:

An amethyst bio mat provides many healing benefits for individuals to incorporate into their health regimens. An amethyst bio mat is a padded mat filled with pockets of amethyst crystal stones. When the mat is turned on and the crystals are heated, far infrared rays (FIR) are created. The heated stones release negative ions and far infrared rays that penetrate your body. A safe and beneficial light wave treats the body, encourages healing, and stimulates the regeneration of nerves and muscle tissue. Amethyst bio mats can be used as treatments for chronic pain, injury, and overall wellness.
